Collin County Courthouse
After 5-1/2 years as a prosecutor who tried over 70 jury trials involving basic misdemeanors up to sex offenses and murder, Cyndi elected to open her own practice focusing in the areas of adult and juvenile criminal defense. For over 15 years, Cyndi has found great satisfaction in representing adults and children accused of criminal offenses. Because each case is unique, all cases are personally handled by Cyndi. This allows her to tailor her representation to the individual needs of each case. Her experience as a prosecutor was not limited solely to the prosecution of adult offenders. Cyndi also spent part of her career in the D.A.'s Office prosecuting juveniles who were accused of felony and misdemeanor crimes. Her time in the D.A.'s Office has given her invaluable insight into the prosecution of the cases against her clients. As evidenced in her Board Certifications in both Criminal Law and Juvenile Law, she has always strived to provide her clients with the highest level of legal representation. She is 1 of 10 attorneys in the State of Texas that holds Board Certifications in both Criminal Law and Juvenile Law. Respect and dignity are overriding themes in her legal practice. Cyndi doesn't represent 'criminals'; she represents people who have been falsely accused and/or those who have made poor choices.

In January 2017, Cyndi accepted a full-time position as a Municipal Court Judge. She now limits her areas of representation to adult expunctions and sealing records in juvenile cases.
